Casting has begun for a new TV series: Off the Grid Build: Rocky Mountains

Like all of our projects, they are casting for unique builds, such as solar / wind power, self-sustaining energy systems, recycled materials, milling lumber on site, etc...

The show will showcase some the challenges it takes to get materials to a job site, battle mountain weather and animals!  

It doesn’t have to an 8,000 square foot home, just something that says "Rocky Mountains" and has unique features and/or challenges. 

So, are you ready to start design on that Off the Grid Home?  If so, call us and we'll consider pitching your project to the production company!

Green Line Architects is hiring! Position available as an architectural intern, with 1-4 years experience.

Green Line Architects seeks Architectural Intern (1-4 years experience) 
Minimum 4 year architecture degree. 

Green Line Architects, PC is a collaborative design and service-oriented, architecture firm located in Carbondale, Colorado. An award-winning firm, Green Line specializes in forward-thinking design of single and multi-family homes from high-end custom to affordable housing; small commercial projects and agricultural buildings. 

Intern candidates should be familiar with and ready to contribute to the design of: 
High performance buildings; 
Solar buildings (passive solar, building-integrated PV and solar hot water); 
Architectural interiors; 
Historic preservation projects; 
Renewable energy systems; 
Applied building science and building science research; 
Land planning & entitlements; 
Space planning; 
Affordable housing; 
Small commercial projects; 
Restaurants; 
and 
Agricultural buildings. 

Extra credit if you have experience with Living Buildings or PassivHaus design. 

Valley residents preferred. 
ArchiCad experience a plus. 
Candidates must have an excellent sense of design, a strong work ethic and a professional demeanor. 

IDP candidates will receive experience in all categories of work. 
Salary based on experience and qualifications.
